Ethernet Configuration Guide
Stage One: Device Configuration
Step 1: From the Urine Analyzer 120 Home screen press the "Menu" button.
Step 2: Select "Analyzer Configuration" from the menu and press "Enter" button.
Step 3: Select "Date/Time" from the "Analyzer Configuration" menu and press "Enter" button
Step 4: On the "Date/Time" settings page select "Date Format" and use the "Enter" button to change the format to the desired setting, either:
- MM-DD-YY
- YY-MM-DD
* You want to make sure the date and time are accurate.
Step 5: Select "Exit" on the "Date/Time" settings page to save the changes.
Step 6: Select "Printer Setup" from the "Analyzer Configuration" menu and press "Enter" button
Step 7: On the "Printer Setup" settings page go to the "Printer Select" option and use the "Enter" button to change the selected printer to "External"
Step 8: Using the down arrows, scroll down to Auto-Print, and ensure this is set to "On". This will ensure that results are transmitted automatically when the test is completed.
Step 9: Ensure that "Print Copies" is set to 1, or numerous tests will be sent over the interface.
Step 10: Select "Exit" on the "Printer Setup" settings page to save the changes, then select "Exit" on each of the Menu pages to return to the Urine Analyzer 120 Home Screen.
Step 11: Ensure "Barcode Reader" is set to "Yes" in "Analyzer Configuration"
Stage Two: Lantronix Configuration
Step 1: Connect the Lantronix xDirect to the directly to the RS232 Port on the rear of the Urine Analyzer 120.
Step 2: Follow the Lantronix xDirect configuration guide to correctly configure the adapter to connect to your network.
