Configuration Stages
To configure the Tosoh AIA-900 Automated Immunoassay Analyzer to connect to Relaymed the following configuration stages are required:
- Tosoh AIA-900 Connection Configuration
- Lantronix xDirect Adapter Configuration
- Add device to Relaylink.
Stage One: Connection Configuration
To allow the Tosoh AIA-900 to communicate with Relaymed the following steps are required.
Step 1: From the Tosoh AIA-900 "Home Screen" select the "SUB MENU" option.
Step 2: From the "SUB MENU " select "HOST".
Step 3: On the "HOST" screen ensure the following options are selected:
- ASTM: Standard
- Query: NO
- Default Download: Non Barcode
- Realtime Upload: All, Patient, Control
- Upload Option: Rate, Lot, Instrument Flag
- No Result: Null
- H L Result: Assay Range <>
- Baud Rate: 9600
- Data Length: 8
- Stop: 1
- Parity: None

Step 4: From the "HOST" Menu select "EXIT" to save the setting and return to the "SUB MENU".
Step 5: On the "SUB MENU" select "Exit" to return to the Home Screen.
Stage Two: Lantronix Configuration
Step 1: Connect the Lantronix xDirect to the directly to the RS232 Port lon the rear of the Tosoh AIA-900.
Step 2: Follow the Lantronix xDirect configuration guide to correctly configure the adapter to connect to your network.
Stage Three: Add Device to Relaylink
To add the Tosoh AIA-900 to the Relaylink follow the Add Ethernet device to Relaylink guide
