Quality Controls Setup

Please Note: This settings is required to have QC sent and processed by Relaymed.
It should not affect the data transfer to Insight (Sysmex's web-based Interlaboratory Quality Assessment Program (IQAP)).

In order for Relaymed to process Quality Controls "QC Sample Number" (e.g "QC-123456") format should be used. To enable this, please use the following settings:
Menu, select Settings, select QC Setting:

  • Select QC Chart Data Auto Output Settings
  • Under Explorer Screen section, select Host Computer (HC)
  • Make sure that is the only option selected, as in the screenshot below:

Step 4: Send a test through

To verify the setup works send a test from the device to Relaymed.

Note:

A barcode scanner can be used to input the MRN. This is usually used for the sample Id but we have configured the device integration to accept the barcode input as the MRN.

WARNING - If a Sample Id is scanned but an MRN is not manually entered then the sample Id will be taken as the MRN.
