Add Device to the Relaymed Software Agent

Add the device to the Relaymed Software Agent:

• Manufacturer: Quidel
• Device type: Sofia 2
• Enter device serial number
• Enter an available port -- take a note of the port as it will need to be entered on the device

Important! Log into the Sofia 2 as Supervisor -- User ID: 1234

Connection Setup

Before you start, decide whether you'd like to connect the device using Ethernet or Wifi.

• If Ethernet
  • Connect the device to a network drop / switch
  • Supervisor Menu >> Network Interface >> Wired Ethernet
• If Wifi (available from firmware version 1.12)
  Supervisor Menu >> Network Interface >> Wifi >> Select network and enter password

Connection Configuration

1.  Supervisor Menu >> Network Settings >> Ethernet Settings >> Select DHCP >> checkmark to save the settings
2. Supervisor Menu  >> Network Settings >> LIS Settings:
   1. LIS IP Address - the private static IP of the Relaymed Software Agent's host
   2. LIS Port - the port allocated to the device on the Relaymed Software Agent
   3. Select the “>” to move to the next screen
   4. Auto Send >> On 
      
3. Select "ASTM/LIS" if prompted for the Connection Protocol
4. Hamburger menu icon >> Send Data >> Test Connection
