How to assign devices to locations

This process outlines how to assign a new device to a location in the Relaymed Portal, enabling it to fully operate and transmit tests to your EHR.

Assigning Devices in Relaymed

  1. Complete Device Configuration

    • First, configure your point-of-care device and add it to the Relaymed Software Agent.

    • Once you successfully send a test, your device will appear online in the Relaymed Portal.

  2. Log in to the Relaymed Portal

    • On your Dashboard, look at the bottom section near your locations.

    • You will see the message: “You have unassigned devices.”

  3. Assign Devices to Locations

    • Click Locations.

    • Assigned devices will be listed under their designated locations.

    • Unassigned devices will appear on the right-hand side.

    • To assign:

      • Either select the device, and the list of available locations will appear, or

      • Click and drag the device (using the six dots) to the correct location.

  4. Finalize Assignment

    • After assigning a device to a location, you will be prompted to either:

      • Dismiss the test, or

      • Send the pending test to your EHR.

    • Once completed, your devices will be fully assigned and ready for use.
