HemoCue DM System
Configuration Guide
Before Beginning
- Make sure your Relaymed Software Agent version is 3.3.0 or higher
- You may connect both of these instruments using this Guide:
- HemoCue Hb 201 DM System
- HemoCue Glucose 201 DM System
- Relaymed connects to the docking station, it is possible to have one docking station and two instruments transmitting tests through the same station.
- It is possible to chain up to 4 Secondary Docking Station (SDS) to a Primary Docking Station (PDS)
Add the Docking Station to the Relaylink
- Open the Relaymed Software Agent and click "Add Device"
- Use the docking station serial number
- Allocate an available port
Configure the Docking Station to connect to the Relaymed Software Agent
Prerequisites: Download and install the PDS configuration tool from https://www.hemocue.com/en/knowledge-center/tools-apps/hemocue-pds-configuration-tool
- Ensure the Device is connected to the PC where the PDS configuration tool is installed with a USB cable.
- Open the PDS configuration tool. Hit connect and enter the correct server and port of the machine where the Software Agent is installed.
- Hit Store Settings to update the server/port
Configure Device Patient ID
Operator ID
- Turn the device on.
- Select the hammer and screwdriver button.
- Select the Advanced Settings button.
- Select the General Settings button.
- Select the Operator ID button
- Select Entry Required
Note: You will now be asked to enter your Operator ID when turning on the device. This step may already be configured.
Patient ID
- Turn the device on.
- Select the hammer and screwdriver button.
- Select the Advanced Settings button.
- Select the Patient test button.
- Select the Patient ID button.
- Set it to Required
Note: The device will now ask you to enter your Patient ID when running a test. This step may already be configured.
Send a test through the device
Verify that the setup is working by sending a test to Relaymed.
Tests are sent automatically when the device is docked.
