Piccolo Xpress

Question:
Why do I see “Chemistry Interference” as an analyte value for my Piccolo Xpress tests in the system, but when I print the results it appears as “~~~”?

Answer:
In our system for the Piccolo Xpress, any results that contains the symbol “~~~” is automatically converted and displayed as “Chemistry Interference.”

According to the Piccolo Xpress Chemistry Analyzer User Manual – “Symbols on the Results Printout” section the symbol “~~~” is defined as a flag indicating Chemistry Interference.

This is done to make the result easier to interpret for users reviewing results in the application.
