BioFire Spotfire
Configuration Guide
Note: Before configuring your Spotfire you will need to use your Spotfire's Admin account you created to make any changes.
Step One - Connecting The Device To Your Network
Verify that an ethernet cable is plugged into your Spotfire and to a serviceable network drop or switch. Log into your Spotfire using your admin credential and navigate to the Connectivity screen under the settings icon.

If your device is connected via an ethernet cable you will see a connected status. From here you can select DHCP for your device's network address.

Step Two - Establishing Host Communication
To configure your device to communicate with the Relaymed Software Agent select Data Manager Interface, from there select Configure Interface.

- Selected Interface - TCP/IP POCT02-A2
- Host - IP address of the computer the Relaymed Software Agent is installed
- Port - This is any TCP port ranging from 1025-65535.
Step Three - Auto Result Processing
Once Host settings have been established Select Configure Result Processing in Data Manager Interface.

Select Automatic Result Processing to have tests sent to the configured host once the device has finished running the sample.

Make sure "Send Control Tm" option is toggled off.
Step Four - Adding Device to Software Agent
Now that your device is configured you will need to add the device to your software agent. You can follow the Add a Device to the Relaymed Software Agent guide for more help.
