Connection Method |
Allscripts Professional supports three connection methods 1. Ubiquity (Preferred) - Connection to the Client's EHR is managed via the Allscripts hosted Ubiquity Service. 2. Direct https connection - We connect directly to the Client's public facing Unity Endpoint 3. VPN - We connect to the Client's network via a VPN to connect to their unity endpoint over http. |
Abnormal Flagging |
Abnormals from devices are flagged in the EHR. |
Abnormal Flagging based on Reference Ranges |
Note: This feature must be enabled in the Admin Site for the facility Use of the Reference Ranges set in Allscripts Professional will be used to calculate if the Patient Test Result is Abnormal and will flag the results as appropriate. Note: Will only calculate abnormals based on a numerical results and reference ranges. Note: If a numerical reference range is set, but the result is non-numeric the result will be flagged as abnormal. |
Relaymed Reference Ranges |
Allscripts Professional does not support the transmission of reference ranges from Relaymed. All Reference Ranges must be configured in the EHR. |

Ordering Method |
Allscripts Professional supports two ordering methods: Solicited (Default and Preferred) - Client raises an order before running the patient test, order is searched for via the API based on the entered MRN. Unsolicited - Relaymed will create an order in the EHR when sending patient test results. This feature must be enabled in the Admin Site for the facility |
