Configuration Guide
Configuration Stages
To configure the Alfa Wassermann Ace Axcel Clinical Chemistry System to connect to Relaymed, complete the following stages:
- Ace Axcel System Connection Configuration
- Serial to Ethernet Adapter Configuration
- Add Device to Relaymed
Stage 1: Connection Configuration
To enable communication between the Ace Axcel and Relaymed, follow these steps:
Step 1:
From the Main Menu, select “Setup.”
Step 2:
Within Setup, select “Hardware.”
Step 3:
On the Hardware screen, under the LIMS section, ensure the following settings are configured:
- Enable: Yes
- Baud Rate: 9600
- Parity: None
- Data Bits: 8
- Stop Bits: 1
Step 4:
Select “Accept (F10)” to save your changes.
Stage 2: Serial to Ethernet Configuration
Step 1:
Connect the Serial to Ethernet adapter directly to the RS232 port labeled “LIMS” on the back of the Ace Axcel device.
Step 2:
Follow the Serial to Ethernet configuration guide to properly set up the adapter and connect it to your network.
Stage 3: Add Device to Relaymed
For practices using the Relaymed Link, log in to your Relaymed Portal and follow these steps:
