Alere Afinion AS100 ADCC

Configuration Guide

The Alere Afinion Data Connectivity Converter (ADCC) comes with default configuration. You need to configure it so that it connects to the Relaylink host.

Before you start

Make sure the client has ordered the ADCC directly from the manufacturer.  For ordering details see:  https://help.relaymed.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006610912

Depending on your setup, decide how you would like to connect the device to your internal network: directly (via Ethernet port) OR via a PC.

Configure ADCC to connect to the Relaylink

Regardless of your final configuration, the ADCC needs to be programmed to connect to the Relaylink. Since this is done via a web interface, you will need a PC.

Connect the ADCC to the PC

  1. USB is connected to the PC (for power only)
  2. Ethernet is connected to the PC

Establish mini network between the ADCC and the PC

ADCC come with a default IP of 192.168.1.1

You will need to temporarily assign the PC the same subnet address: 192.168.1.2

  1. Open Network and Sharing Center
  2. Choose "Change adapter settings" (left hand menu)
  3. Right-Click on Ethernet and select Properties
  4. Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", then click Properties
  5. Choose "Use the following IP address"
  6. Edit IP address to be:192.168.1.2
  7. Click OK

Configure the ADCC to connect to the Relaylink

  1. Navigate to open your web browser and navigate to 192.168.1.1
  2. In the Web Interface enter the configuration required for the ADCC
